Prasad's Lucky Scratch Is An Early Christmas Gift

Christmas definitely came early for Suresh Prasad yesterday.

Mr Prasad, who is a carpenter, scratched his way to win $30,000 on a ‘Fiji Scratch Only TICKET’ at MH Nausori.

First he won $2 and so he left with five cards and decided to scratch them all.

After he did, he threw them all in the bin without realising he had a winning ticket.

But thanks to the terminal operator who checked his tickets, called him back to tell him that he won $30,000.

In disbelief, Mr Prasad shed tears of joy and jumped with joy. He is married with four children.
