President Katonivere Meets Top Leaders

More than 100 delegation from around the world are attending the summit with the welcome reception held at the Burgenstock Resort.

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere arrived in Zurich, Switzerland yesterday to attend the first-ever “Summit on Peace in Ukraine” which started on Saturday.

More than 100 delegation from around the world are attending the summit with the welcome reception held at the Burgenstock Resort.

Among Fiji’s participation and contribution to the peace discussions during the summit is also expected to hold various bilateral meeting with high-level dignatories.

The summit aims to provide a platform for dialogue on ways towards a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine based on international law and the UN charter, to promote a common understanding of a possible framework to reach this goal and to jointly define a roadmap on how to involve both parties in a future peace process.
