Improving water infrastructure must be a priority in the next budget. This is the plea by residents who continue to face water challenges.
Waiqanake resident Angelina Ram, who has lived in the area for six years, said Government must provide immediate solutions. Ms Ram said villagers struggle to find alternatives. Villagers use a nearby creek to wash their clothes.
“With no water supply, children are not able to attend school,” Ms Ram said.
