Prisoner In Remand, Timoci Belo Escapes From Suva High Court Today

Remand prisoner Timoci Belo escaped from the Suva Court house this morning and police are currently searching for his whereabouts.

Belo escaped from the custody of a police officer while being escorted to court.

An internal investigation will be conducted against those responsible for Belo's escape.
