The Prime Minister in his speech during the commis­sioning of the Navala Grid Extension project in Ba couldn’t have said it any better.

“...the bottom line is that access to electricity spans the difference be­tween a dark and uncertain tomor­row, and a bright, prosperous and promising future.”

On the same day, Mr Bainimara­ma, also commissioned the Namau Grid Extension at Namau Public School..

Here, we share images from the commissioning marking a new dawn for these areas that have been without electricity for too long.
