The National Fire Authority (NFA) is investigating the cause of a fire at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) 3FIR building in Nabua early Friday morning.
NFA chief executive officer Puamau Sowane said they received a 910-emergency call at 3.38am and the fire crew from the Suva Fire Station responded immediately.
“Upon arrival at the scene, the team found the 3FIR Unit Headquarters fully engulfed in flames,” Mr Puamau said.

“The firefighters quickly established one delivery of water from the fire truck to extinguish the fire with the support from Valelevu and Nakasi Fire Station.”

The RFMF said they were thankful that the fire did not spread to other parts of QEB and that no lives were lost in the incident.
