Protect your identity, says Ratu Isoa Roqonadovu of Vuisiga Village in Waima, Naitasiri.
The 54-year-old was one of the 24 men from Naitasiri Province who were part of the 2023 Vuli ni Sausauvo programme last week.
“I am thankful that we underwent a programme about our identity and traditions for our province,” he said.

“It has always been there, but has not been revived.
“The programme opened our eyes to new perspectives.
“Three representatives from our tikina are participants.
“My brother is the Vunivalu (chief) of Vuisiga, and because I am next in line, I am here.
“When I return to the village, I will share what I have learned.”
