Pryde’s Suspension Not On Me, Says Former A-G
The former Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, says the suspension of the suspended Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had nothing to with him.

The former Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, says the suspension of the suspended Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had nothing to with him.
He was responding to allegations that a 30-45 minute conversation with Mr Pryde during the Japanese Ambassador’s reception may have led to Mr Pryde’s suspension.
This was while files which concerned Voreqe Bainimarama, Sitiveni Qiliho and Mr Sayed-Khaiyum were with the DPP.
