PS Kuruleca Releases 2024 School Calendar

The official school dates for the academic year 2024 have been announced.

In a circular authorised by the Ministry of Education permanent secretary Selina Kuruleca yesterday, all divisional heads, district officers and heads of schools were informed of the term dates.

Term One will run for 14 weeks, beginning on January 29 and ending on May 3. Term Two, also comprising 14 weeks, will begin on May 12 and end on August 20.

Term Three, with a total of 13 weeks, will start on September 9 and end on December 6.

All teachers will be required to report to school on Monday, January 29, which is a student-free day.

Ms Kuruleca hopes the availability of school dates will help heads of schools plan for the learning and teaching programme for the academic year 2024.
