PSC announces another reshuffle of permanent secretaries

PSC Chairman Luke Rokovada emphasized that these changes are part of the Government's ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership across key Ministries.

The Public Service Commission (PSC), in consultation with the Prime Minister, has announced a reshuffle involving three Permanent Secretaries.

Effective February 3, 2025, Dr Raijeli Taga, currently serving as the Permanent Secretary for the Office of the Prime Minister, will take on the role of Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Meanwhile, Dr Lesikimacuata Korovavala, who is the current Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be reassigned to the Office of the Prime Minister as Permanent Secretary.

In addition, Dr Korovavala will assume the duties of Acting Permanent Secretary for Immigration, reporting directly to the Minister of Immigration.

Furthermore, Mr Manasa Lesuma, who currently holds the position of Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Housing, has also taken on additional responsibilities.

Since January 14, 2025, he has been serving as Acting Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Policing.
