The public is being urged to remain on high alert as heavy rainfall continues across the country, with weather systems increasing the risk of flooding and hazardous conditions.
In a public advisory issued today, the National Disaster Risk Management Office (NDRMO) said the ongoing rain is associated with Tropical Disturbance TD03F and an active trough of low pressure.
A Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for the entire Fiji group, while a Flash Flood Alert is in effect for all low-lying and flood-prone areas.
