Qauia Settlement Is Prone To Flooding, Weather Office Warns Of More Rain
The Fiji Meteorological Service (FMS) has warned of heavy rain and thunderstorms over parts of the Fiji group from today.

Whenever there is a heavy downpour of rain, the main bridge connecting Qauia Settlement in Lami to the main road gets flooded.
Sometimes villagers have to wait for the water to recede in order to carry heavy items across.
Tulia Vakavei, 53, has been experiencing this for the past five years ever since she moved to the area.
