Queens And Kings Highway Open

Road users are advised to please be mindful of the road conditions, our workmen and heavy machinery.

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public regarding the following road closures due to flooding;

 Both Queens and Kings Road are open. However, several roads have lane restrictions

around Viti Levu due to fallen trees and debris. Road users are advised to please be

mindful of the road conditions, our workmen and heavy machinery. Please follow all

temporary traffic management plan in place and drive slowly.

 Edinburgh Drive is now open to all traffic

 Cavity at Ovalau Circular Road, Levuka

 Causeway washout at Cicia Jetty. Also, Cicia Coastal Road is partly affected and is only

accessible by 4WD

 River slip at Sawani is still passable on Princes Road with single-lane restriction. We are

constantly monitoring this.

North Update:

 Bucalevu Crossing on Bucalevu Road in Navakaka, Savusavu closed due to flooding

 Wairiki Crossing on Navakuru Road in Suweni, Labasa closed due to flooding

 Zailav Crossing on Zailav Road, in Natua, Seaqaqa closed due to flooding

FRA is urging the pubic to take the necessary precautions and take note of the advisories from

relevant authorities. Please take extra precaution while traveling in these conditions and do not

drive into water of unknown depth and current.
