Nauru President David Adeang is said to have walked out of the Forum Leaders Meeting on Rarotonga this morning after Baron Waqa's nomination for next Secretary General was tabled for discussion by the Leaders. Mr Waqa is nominated by the Micronesian States.
Does it threaten the peace in the Forum, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka does not think so, saying it was not an issue.
"Until I hear from him, I have not been informed that he has decided not to participate," Mr Rabuka said.
