Rabuka meets President Trump on UN Summit sidelines

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and his wife Suluweti met United States President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The brief encounter allowed both leaders to exchange greetings and reaffirm the value of close ties between Fiji and the United States.

“This meeting provided an opportunity to exchange warm greetings and reaffirm the importance of fostering people-to-people connections and friendships between Fiji and the U.S.,” Mr Rabuka said afterward.

He added: “God bless Fiji, God bless the U.S.A.”
