North Campaign Starts
Mr Rabuka said The People’s Alliance if voted into Government would continue to engage in bringing about more developments for the Northern Division.
Mr Rabuka hails from Drekeniwai Village, Cakaudrove.
“We will give close attention to the sugar industry in the north and around the country,” he said.
He claimed the current tonne of cane harvested to the tonne of sugar produced ratio was still basically the same despite the current varieties of sugarcane farmers produced.
Mr Rabuka was baffled whether the sugarcane varieties grown were the right ones or if the sugarcane extraction methods were not working, leading to low yield.
