Four police officers involved in the arrest of the late Sakiasi Ose Radravu will be interdicted and face internal disciplinary proceedings following an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his apprehension.
In a statement released tonight, the Fiji Police Force said all 12 officers involved in Mr Radravu's arrest had been questioned by Criminal Investigations Department officers.
The investigation established that four officers were directly involved in apprehending Mr Radravu.

Police said the four officers had been directed to take pending leave and would subsequently be interdicted on half pay pending internal disciplinary proceedings by the Internal Affairs Department.
The force also clarified that investigations had identified the involvement of a single officer from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, contradicting earlier claims that members of the Joint Task Force were involved.
Meanwhile, police confirmed that a Death Register investigation file was being compiled and would be submitted to the Resident Magistrate with a recommendation for a full inquest into Mr Radravu's death.
According to the statement, the findings have been communicated to Mr Radravu's mother, who is his next of kin.
Police said she had also provided a signed statement acknowledging the findings of the investigation to date.
The Fiji Police Force is urging anyone with information relevant to the matter to report it through official channels.
Police added that further updates on the investigation process would be communicated only to Mr Radravu's mother as next of kin.
