Radrodro Mum On Removal

Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has re­mained tight-lipped in regards to the removal of the Fiji National University Council chair, Dr Kesaia Seniloli.

Dr Kesaia was appointed in Febru­ary. Semesa Karavaki was appoint­ed as deputy chair.

Council members include; Dr Priscilla Qolisaya Puamau, Ravin­dra Robin Nair, Navin Raj Shayam, Ofa Swann, Enasio Morris, Pra­vinesh Singh, Peter Zinck, Selina Likutekula Vatuvoka, Dr Alisi Ta­latoka Vudiniabola, and Veniana Naqasima.

Mr Radrodro was approached for comments before he entered the University of the South Pacific Council meeting on Friday morn­ing.

He simply replied “no comment”. No explanation has been given so far as to why and when Dr Kesaia was removed.

It is understood that Mr Karavaki is currently the acting chair of the FNU Council.

Mr Karavaki and FNU vice-chan­cellor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba referred all questions to Mr Radrodro.
