Radrodro Queries Glitch Report Delay

The Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) and Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro have questioned the delay of the 2022 General Elections ‘glitch’ accident report.
Two years on, the glitch that occurred during the counting on Election night on December 14, 2022, remains a mystery.
Fijians are going to the polls next year.

Then Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem, indicated that attempting to resume a failed data transmission had caused the app to crash.
As a result, certain candidates received a disproportionate number of votes.
“We are very much interested to get the report on the glitch,” Mr Radrodro said.
“The report will allow us see what really happened on the glitch day.”
A total of 473,910 voters cast their votes in the last elections.
Supervisor of Elections Ana Matiaciwa said they have not received any clear instructions from Minister for Justice Siromi Turaga.
Questions sent to Mr Turaga since Sunday remained unanswered.
