The judgement to hear the former Social Democratic Liberal party member, Salote Radrodro’s application for constitutional redress has been deferred to Friday.

Reasoning for the deferment is still unclear to Fiji Sun.

The application filed last year sought claims of political interference from the late Chief Justice Kamal Kumar, office of the Attorney- General and office of the Chief Registrar.

Radrodro was sentenced to three years imprisonment in 2022 after she was found guilty of falsely stating her permanent residential address being in Namulomulo Village, Nabouwalu, Bua, and obtaining $37,920.13.

The incident occurred sometimes between August 2019 and April 2020.

Throughout the whole proceeding, Radrodro remained in remand.
