Rasoki Ready to Take on New Role as Lautoka Special Administrator
He looks forward to working with other special administrators to prepare the Lautoka City Council for the municipal elections next year.

Taitusi Rasoki aims to put his civil service and land consultancy experience to use in his new role as the Lautoka special administrator.
The board of special administrators is chaired by Ratu Tevita Momoedonu, and its other members are Manasa Draki and Ajay Kumar.
Mr Rasoki is a retired civil servant, a pastor and currently a registered land consultant. He had joined the civil service in 1976 and worked his way up to the mid-management level until the coup in 2006, when the Government Supplies department closed down.

He turned 55 and returned to village life in Namoli. Apart from that, he does consultancy work on land matters and traditional titles.
He said that this was also an ideal time to prepare for the general election campaign of 2026.
Mr Rasoki who aspires to be a politician, did not contest the past three elections due to financial constraints.
However, he is hopeful that this platform will give him the experience to serve the people.
He looks forward to working with other special administrators to prepare the Lautoka City Council for the municipal elections next year.
“I’m a pastor of a church and also the chairman of the Assemblies of God Church board, so this is nothing new to me because I’m engaged in the Lautoka development projects in the village and native lands. I will work with my colleagues as a team and achieve the results required,” he said.
