The former Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Ratu Epeli Gavidi Ganilau was finally laid to rest at the sautabu chiefly burial grounds in Somosomo, Taveuni on Friday.

The former Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Ratu Epeli Gavidi Ganilau was finally laid to rest at the sautabu chiefly burial grounds in Somosomo, Taveuni on Friday.

Hundreds of mourners gathered at Somosomo Village on Friday to farewell the fallen chief who was also the Great Council of Chiefs former chairman.
