The former Commander of the Republic Forces (RFMF) and politician, Ratu Epeli Ganilau, has died.
The chairman of the Cakaudrove Provincial Council, Ratu Jone Lewenilovo, confirmed this on Wednesday.
Ratu Epeli died on Tuesday, aged 71.
