Proposals to strengthen the relationship between Ba Provincial Council and the Bose Ni Momo Ni Yasana Ko Ba Trust will be discussed at a meeting in Tavua on September 27.
This was confirmed by the Ba Provincial Council Chairman Ratu Tevita Momoedonu during the Ba Provincial Council meeting at the chiefly residence of the Tui Nawaka.
“This is the ‘Bose Vanua, Liuliu Ni Mata ni Tikina’. The creation of the Bose Ni Momo, they sort of stood aside but now they have agreed to give their 100 per cent support to the Provincial Council,” added Ratu Tevita.

The proposal includes:
- Returning provincial land to the Nailaga and Kese which has been idle over the years ;
- A proposal to the Ba Holding Limited to remove debts on the premises leased by the Ba Provincial office at the Rogorogoivuda house;
- Seeking the Ba Holdings Limited to pay $100,000 yearly to the Ba Provincial Council to runs its business
- Hosting the Siga kei Ba, as the fundraising drive on October 25, to assist in the welfare of the province.
The Siga Kei Ba is where everyone registered in the Vola ni Kawabula (VKB) in the 21 tikinas, 18 years above contribute $2 toward the fundraising.
- The construction of the Roko Tui Ba’s residence in Natabua; and
- The renovation and the repair work of the Koroivolu Provincial Office in Nadi built in the Colonial days.
