Prior to exam week, Ravneel Vikash Deo Maharaj would normally have only three hours of sleep as he spent most of his time studying.
While his family would be asleep, the Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV) College, Ba, head boy would stay up till 2am studying, have a bit of sleep and be up again by 5am to continue his studies.
That was the routine the 18-year-old lad from Namosau, Ba developed when he began school as a young boy because it was his dream to become the Dux of a secondary school one day.
