The appeal hearing for Minister for Waterways Mahendra Reddy has been set to take place on May 14, 2018 at the High Court in Suva.
Reddy’s presence was excused in court and was represented by private lawyer Devanesh Sharma.
Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) lawyer Rashmi Aslam appeared for the appellant.

Both lawyers have been given one month each to file and serve their written submissions and to prepare for the hearing.
FICAC has been given until March 13, 2018 to file their written submissions and Mr Sharma has been given until April 10, 2018 to respond accordingly.
April 21, 2018 was given for the appellant to respond to Mr Sharma’s submissions, if any.
The case has been adjourned for hearing.
Reddy’s bail was extended.
