Report illegal sale of liquor to 9904905: Police
ACP Operations Kasiano Vusonilawe is reiterating the organisation’s call for personal responsibility in the consumption of alcohol

The Fiji Police Force is urging for public support in reporting illegal sale of liquor particularly in rural areas, as a busy night of celebrating the new year is expected tonight.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP/O) Kasiano Vusonilawe has encouraged the public to report the illegal sale of liquor directly on 9904 905.
"This is due to concerns of drinking in villages and rural settlements where there have been reports of bootlegging operations," ACP Vusonilawe said.

ACP Vusonilawe said police officers have been briefed ahead of tonight’s operations in providing a safe and conducive environment for all to welcome in the new year.
He added that arrests have been being made for cases of drinking in public places and drunk and disorderly.
"This will continue well into the new year, with celebrations are anticipated around the country."
ACP Vusonilawe said community policing officers have also conducted visitations to community leaders, and is calling for support in reporting the illegal sale of liquor particularly in rural areas.
This is due to concerns of drinking in villages and rural settlements where there have been reports of bootlegging operations.
