Republic of Fiji Military Forces Team Links Up With Australian Army Brigade

A six-member contingent from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces is embedded with the 7th Brigade of the Australian Army at Shoalwater Bay, Queensland.

Major Aseri Rokoura and Lieutenant Jo Logavatu of the Third Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment (3FIR) are in Queensland to observe Exercise Diamond Sprint over the next three weeks.

The 7th Brigade is a high-readiness combat Brigade of the Australian Army, which is based at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, Queensland.

It is a multi-role combat Brigade of the Australian Army and comprises approximately 3200 personnel.

The Fiji troops are embedded with the bridage’s elements to learn from each other and build on the RFMF Australian Army partnership.
