Residents Face Water Disruption

Residents living in elevated parts of Lautoka are advised that they will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent supply today until 8am.
Shakuntala Mani of Sulua Street, Lautoka, said as soon as she saw the pressure was low, she knew she had to store extra water for basic use.
“I have a large family and they all depend on me for cooking, so I don’t want water disruption to affect my chores and duties,” she said.

Fiji Water Authority corporate communications officer Peni Shute said there was an unplanned water disruption to residents in the elevated parts of Lautoka City.
He confirmed that low pressure would be experienced until 8am today.
