Residents near Korotari Crossing in Labasa are still worried as they believe more floods will come if debris is not cleared left by Tropical Cyclone Harold.
A vegetable and sugarcane farmer Satish Chand said the two-lane crossing was underwater on Wednesday.
"Due to heavy rain, the Korotari River overflowed with muddy water from the mountains with debris," Mr Chand said.

"These debris are stuck under the crossing posing a lot of threat to the nearby community and are not cleared."
"Built within 14 months at a cost of $4.5 million, the bridge along with 860 metres of road serves as a critical link across the Labasa River between Korotari and Siberia," he said.
"The cleanup must be done immediately."
Meanwhile, Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that they would send a team to clean up the site in the afternoon.
