Resource Challenges In Agriculture, Waterways

There are insufficient and in­adequate resources within the Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways in the northern division.

Assistant line minister, Tomasi Tunabuna said this recurring problem was frequently raised by the majority of agricultural stations in rural areas.

He said the Government was fully committed to providing ef­fective solutions. However, the current resources available were very limited, including staff, mo­bility, and the well-being of em­ployees, which requires immedi­ate attention.
