Respecting each other while juggling a busy work life is a secret to maintaining a good relationship for Brent Hill.
The Tourism Fiji chief executive officer said having total respect for each other, and trusting each other implicitly is important in a relationship.
He said while it was tough definitely juggling a busy schedule, quality time together was huge.

“I try to maximize time away from the office and work with Kel, and also look for opportunities where Kel might be able to come with me – so sometimes at events and functions or even long travel stints, if it makes sense for Kel to come along, at our own cost, but it helps keep our relationship strong and healthy, we do it. I must admit I couldn’t do what I do without Kellie’s support,” Mr Hill said.

“Every time we stepped it up – when we moved in together, bought a house, got married, moved overseas to Fiji and now having a baby, we felt like we were doing it out of a place of love and respect for each other.
“But we also went with our hearts. For example we decided to look for a house to buy together and bought the first one we went to – sometimes you just know!.”
This year, valentine’s day would be special for the couple with their newborn son Freddie.
“I’ve organised a surprise bunch of flowers to be delivered to Kel and have ordered in a special dinner so Kel doesn’t have to do a thing and we can enjoy the sunset together with our little man.”
