Resurrection Sunday Baby

Tarusila Cagi Uwate gave birth to her firstborn on Resurrec­tion Day.

Ms Uwate, 21, of Korosomo Village in Macuata is a single mother. She is a Police Officer based in Tavua.

She felt emotional because she had been waiting for her son for a long time now.

She said she was ready to take up her motherly role.

“Despite being a single mother, I am fortunate to have the support of my parents during this important phase in my life”.
