Richard Naidu Free Man

High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar decided not to record a conviction, and dismissed the charge of contempt of court against prominent Suva lawyer Richard Naidu.

Mr Naidu yesterday walked out of the High Court in Suva a free man, call for a Cabinet decision on the drama. Public Service Commission chair Luke Rokovada said adecision was expected to be made today.

FTA, FTU response Fijian Teachers Association president Netani Druavesi said: “We want someone with an education backgroundbecause we want someone who can do the work requiredof them and with the mess at the ministry it is very important,” Mr Druavesi said.
