Quality study time late at night and early in the morning has paid dividends for Riyansha Deo.

The Year Eight student scooped the 2022 dux award during the Loma Primary School’s prizegiving ceremony last week.

“I feel really happy to be given the award, I aim high in my subjects and always try to be disciplined,” she said.

“I study until 10pm otherwise near the exam I would go tills 11pm and 12midnight. Then I would wake up in the early morning and resume study.”
