Three men facing robbery charges appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court during a special court sitting yesterday.

Filipe Maruku, Lasao Turagadraua and Alisio Ratubalavu appeared before Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

The three men are alleged to rob the complainant on April 18. 2019, in Navua and during the incident, used force on the complainant.

Police prosecutor Inspector Vimlesh Reddy served full phase disclosures to the accused persons.

She objected to bail for the accused persons on the ground that the charge was an indictable offence.

Magistrate Boseiwaqa remanded the three accused men in custody and transferred the matter to the Navua Magistrates Court.

The matter was adjourned to May 6 for mention in the Magistrates Court in Navua.
