Rokosawa Is LTA’s Acting CEO
LTA Board chairman, James Sowane stated that Mr Rokosawa will lead the organisation until such time the currently vacant substantive CEO role is being filled.

The Land Transport Authority of Fiji (LTA) Board has appointed Irimaia Rokosawa as acting Chief Executive Officer as of Monday, October 4, 2021.
Mr Rokosawa has been with LTA since 2017 when he joined as General Manager Finance and Administration.
He was promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2020.

“Mr Rokosawa has demonstrated throughout his career with the LTA, his ability to work successfully in executive leadership roles and the board is confident of his extensive experience to lead the Authority in the interim.” said Mr Sowane.
LTA adheres to a fair, merit-based selection process to ensure the best candidate is selected for any position.
LTA was established to provide a safe land transport system for the nation in partnership with stakeholders, the Fijian Government and the community.
