Sacrificing Normal Sleeping Pays off for Samvedhika

Samvedhika Kumar, 13, of Vunika Primary School in Labasa, dedicated the dux prize to her parents, Shobna Lata and Monish Kumar, yesterday.
The Vunika, Labasa lass, also won best student of the year 2023 award.
The eldest of three siblings scored 581 out of 600 in the Year Eight annual examination.

“If I don’t understand a particular topic, I will ask my teacher, but if I am still unsatisfied, I will ask my parents,” Samvedhika said.
“To gain more clarification, I would check the internet and do more research.”
Aspiring to become a doctor, Samvedhika thanked her parents for their endless support.
