Salote Nunia, 66, believes the 2021 name change policy regarding the Interpretation Act 1967 and Electoral (Registration of Voters) Act 2012 is a simple means to conduct daily activities for both work and official purposes.
The lone supporter of the 2021 policy at yesterday’s meeting said the one name policy allocated in the birth certificate was ideal for official use.
When she registered her business, Ms Nunia said the process was easy and she did not have to get other documents as only the Birth Certificate (BC) was required.
