Sanjeevani Medical Centre: Free Health Checks
More than 7,000 people have received medical assistance from the Sanjeevani Medical Centre in Muanikau, Suva, since its opening in April last year.

More than 7,000 people have received medical assistance from the Sanjeevani Medical Centre in Muanikau, Suva, since its opening in April last year.
Medical Centre Director, Dr Krupali Tappoo also assured their commitment to continue bringing international health specialists to improve the health services provided to Fijians.
Last month, the Centre had two medical practitioners from Australia conducting free health checks for the public.

Visiting pediatric nurse practitioner, Shahn Horrocks and Psychiatrist Dr Georgina Brunton of Health in Kind, an Australian non-governmental organisation, assisted in the “Health on Wheels” programme organised by the medical centre.
Dr Krupali said patients received consultation and free medications.
He said Horrocks and Dr Bruton also trained some nurses and doctors on treating pediatrics emergencies.
