Saqani High School Sereana Dilelei Eyes Public Health Field

Despite coming from a teaching background, Sereana Dilelei aspires to work in the public health field.
Sereana credited her success to her parents while receiving the Dux award at Saqani High School in Cakaudrove, yesterday.
The Tertiary Education Loan Scheme (TELS) prospect wishes to undertake her tertiary education at the University of the South Pacfic.

She hails from Sese Village with maternal links to Vuniwai Village in Saqani.
She said it was through family support she was able to scoop the dux prize.
“I was not surprised at all because I knew one day my hard work will be paid off,” she said.
“Time, dedication and hard work is required.”
She was happy that she completed her higher education from a rural school.
“I will cherish every single moment which I have spent with the people here and I wish to serve theme one day.”
Sereana was awarded the English, Agriculture and Biology subject prizes.
Guardian, Setareki Niumataiwalu, said the family was proud of her achievements and hoped that Sereana will achieve her goals.
