Fijian born Andrew Satavu has been identified as a homicide victim. This came after a fatal shooting in California in United States of America.
Modesto Police Department confirmed in a statement that the 56-year-old food delivery driver from Nadroga had just completed a delivery on Monday, April 18, 2022 at around 9:45pm when the incident happened.
“Callers reported hearing multiple gunshots near the 1600 block of Gardenia Road. When officers arrived in the area, they located an adult male in his vehicle suffering from several gunshot wounds,” the statement said.

“Detectives with our Violent Crimes Unit have taken over this investigation and are working diligently to identify the suspect(s).”
Mr Satavu is expected to be laid to rest on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
