School Starts On January 4, 2022

Schools for all other students will now start on January 4 and not at the end of this month as announced earlier.
This has been confirmed by the Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Premila Kumar.
Ms Kumar said the ministry would be making an official announcement in this regard soon.

Students from Years 12 and 13 started school on November 1.
It was later announced that the rest of the students which included primary and early childhood education were to return to school on November 29.
It was also announced that a date of January 4 was on the back burner if there were no cyclones.
