Nasibah Naznin Ali was a pure science student who wanted to become a doctor.
Last week, Ms Ali, 27, of Valele, Ba, graduated with a Bachelor of Law from University of Fiji.
“There was no lawyer on either side of my parents’ family,” she said.

“I wanted to make a difference, and find my own niche. That’s when I decided to take up law and I’m happy that I did so.”
She said life was not easy for her because it required perseverance and confidence.
