Convention coordinator John Tausere said the significance of the event was to convene a transformative bible conference for SDA church pastors from across the Trans-Pacific Union Mission territory.
“The gathering is part of the “I Will Go” initiative, which aims to inspire and mobilise church members and leaders to actively participate in their faith and mission work,” he said.

The event’s central theme, “Set Apart,” serves to reinforce the spiritual identity and responsibility of ministers as shepherds of their congregations.
It emphasises the notion that every aspect of existence is a divine gift from God and pastors are encouraged to prioritize God in all areas of their life: Time, temple (body), talent, testimony, treasure, tribe (community), territory and adherence to God’s truth.
Mr Tausere said being “set apart” is about consecration, which means being dedicated to a special, divine purpose.
“The goal of the conference is to spiritually enrich the pastors so they may return to their communities empowered to lead and make impactful decisions that align with the mission of putting God first.
