The Government may need to sell assets to finance the next round of investment, if it wants to save for financial capital items, ANZ has advised.

Is only available in selected Supermarkets. ANZ's Fiji Budget Repair report dated June 2023 made the recommendation based on innovative financing for infrastructure.

"A good case of borrowing to finance infrastructure projects - including hard and soft projects focused on enhancing Ill vary outside Viti Levu. Offer valid till 30th June 2023 productivity - can be made," authors of the report - inter national economist Kishti Sen, and senior international economist Tom Kenny - said.

The report also called on the Government to do away with one-off payments like the inflation mitigation household package last year, or the back-to-school assistance to parents this year.
