Saint Thomas High School head boy Lasaro Driubalavu has excelled academically and proven his leadership skills.
The soft spoken lad received the prestigious baton of honour during the school's recent cadet passing- out parade on July 26.
Cadet training is part of education in some schools to foster students' development and discipline.

The 18-year-old from Nuku Village, Serua, has maternal links to Wainiyabia, Serua.
"Since it was my first experience, I was nervous but I had faith in God, I overcame the challenge," he said.
Lasaro is the eldest of four children and aspires to become an electrician by studying at the Fiji National University (FNU).
