The Christian Mission Fellowship International is urging families to share the spirit of Christmas with those in need.

In his Christmas message, President and Founder Reverend Suliasi Kurulo encouraged families to look beyond themselves and share Jesus Christ’s love with those in need.

“Bring hope to someone who is hurting, comfort to someone who is grieving, and joy to someone who feels forgotten,” Reverend Kurulo said.

“Let us be his light in this world, reflecting the heart of Jesus in all we do.”

As Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Reverend Kurulo reflected on the message of hope and joy.

He said this season may also carry moments of reflection and even sadness.

“You might have lost a loved one, faced challenges, or experienced heartache but let me encourage you with this truth: the birth of Christ is a reminder that god is with us –Emmanuel his light ‘shines brightest in the darkest times, and in him, there is always hope. Jesus came to bind up the broken-hearted comfort those who-mourn, and to give us beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:1-3).

“Over 2,000 years ago, the angel proclaimed, “do not be afraid I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David saviour has been born to you; he is the messiah, the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11).

“This is the reason we celebrate – not just the birth of a baby, but the arrival of “our redeemer, our healer and our-hope.”

Reverend Kurulo also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the CMFI family around the globe for their commitment to the work of the kingdom.

“Whether through missions, church planting, discipleship, or community outreach, you have been the hands and feet of Christ in this world.

“Your labour of love has brought light to countless lives fulfilling the mission to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).”

Reverend Kurulo wished families across Fiji, a blessed Christmas filled with God’s peace.

“On behalf of my family and the

leadership of CMFI, I wish you a blessed Christmas filled with god’s peace and a new year overflowing with his favor and abundance.

“May 2025 be a year where we see the glory of God revealed like never before.
