Shaving Diplomats: $40,000 Raised For WOWS Kids Fiji Foundation
More than $FJD40,000 was raised during the WOWS Kids Fiji (WKF) Shave or Save it Campaign that will assist the non-profit Charity Foundation with its core values.

Five heads of overseas missions in Fiji took on the challenge to shave their heads on Friday in order to raise charity funds for children with cancer.
More than $FJD40,000 was raised during the WOWS Kids Fiji (WKF) Shave or Save it Campaign that will assist the non-profit Charity Foundation with its core values.
The diplomats include New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Fiji Johnathan Curr, United States Ambassador to Fiji Joseph Cella, French Ambassador to Fiji Jean-Francois Fitou, High Commissioner of Australia to Fiji John Feakes and British Deputy High Commissioner to Fiji Paul Welsh.

New Zealand High Commissioner, Johnathan Curr said, “Cancer is such an enormous problem for anyone around the world.
“16 children had been lost to cancer in Fiji last year and that is too many and it is really important for us to come together to help these children and their families’ battle to beat cancer,” he said.
All five heads of missions shared the same sentiments of supporting such charity in saving the lives of children living with cancer in Fiji.
