Shop ‘N’ Save Robbery Trial Verdict Moved To June 30th

The fate of two men who allegedly stole nearly $250,000 from the Shop ‘N’ Save Supermarket in Nakasi in 2021, will be heard on June 30.

The matter was to be called for judgment before Acting Chief Justice Salesi Temo yesterday.

Maikeili Scott Manuwave and Raymond Johnson are charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.

The alleged offences took place on August 9, 2021, at Nakasi where the accused duo robbed a Shop N Save staff member of $249,477.25 from the weekend’s taking at the Rups Mega Complex as the staff member was going to the bank.

The robbery took place during the peak of the COVID-19 restrictions.
